Topps Rookie Banquets and Programs

I have a run of these from 1959 to 1966. Not sure if there are any after 1966. I think Dave Hornish has told me there may be one for 1967, and a paper program for 64 as well as the boxed card set.

Those are unbelievable! Thanks for sharing...

I love the ad for the cards...I just want to reach through the monitor and remove those rubber bands, haha.

Agreed. At this point I would trade a Musial for a Mantle.

Al-I am in awe, as usual!

The last real program was 1966; after that it was basically just a folded over sheet of glossy paper from what I know of it. I do believe they issued those for many years after though and they do have the player pictures on them. I think after 1966 Topps cut a lot of costs to pay for their move of confectionery production and packaging to Duryea.

The 64 program is shy a "page" compared to the card set (I think).

More here, yowsa! http://toppsarchives.blogspot.com/se...uet%20Programs

"Want to make a boy happy? Give him a nickle, and send him to the store today".

My how times have changed. Now it's "give your kid five bucks, and console him when he doesn't need any of the three cards he got."

Thank you for sharing this with us, Al. I'm starting to understand why people love your collection so much!
