Gotta give him points for creativity...

sportscardpete 12-24-2012 10:58 AM

Someone should buy it and send it in to a TPG. Would be funny to see how they respond.

jrlebert 12-24-2012 11:02 AM

Believe it or not... he actually has 6 completed sales on things just like that!

atx840 12-24-2012 11:07 AM

Scrap!! Someone call Johnny.

freakhappy 12-24-2012 11:09 AM

paper reprint

harmless....right? And honestly, kinda cool for people that never get to see those types of cards close up :)

novakjr 12-24-2012 11:24 AM

Wasn't there someone in the forums a while ago, that said his collection consisted of pictures of cards cut out from catalogs?

Yeah, I found it.

Reminds of the Judge Judy case where someone paid for and got pictures of smartphones instead of the actual phones off of ebay. Problem was they thought they were buying the phones for several hundred dollars. Judge Judy read the defendants the riot act and ruled for the plaintiff to get their money back. It was very funny watching the scammers squirm. At least this person with the cutouts is selling them honestly.

drc 12-24-2012 11:40 AM

Horrible, but the BIN is only $2.

ruth-gehrig 12-24-2012 12:18 PM

He must have cut them out after an evening of drinking;) The sides aren't even at all.

Hilarious. At least do a good job cutting them out. It looks my three year old got to them....

chaddurbin 12-24-2012 01:10 PM

these psa ones will be easier to frame then sgc.

HercDriver 12-24-2012 01:21 PM

PSA vs SGC

On these cut-outs, which company do you think will hold better investment value, PSA or SGC? I want to make sure I buy the right one since you can't crack them out...

Take Care,
Geno

Thanks for posting that Anthony. Another 9 1/2 minutes of my life gone and well worth it. I love Judge Judy.

Would come back with "evidence of trimming"

christopher.herman 12-24-2012 07:40 PM

All joking aside, this is a disturbing and disgusting ebay listing.
-Christopher.

Why is this disgusting and disturbing?

Really? Not sure I follow you here. I mean, isn't the seller just selling picture cutouts of the cards? It's not like he's trying to rip off anyone...they know what they are getting and it's $2!

If you think this is disturbing, you should really browse Ebay...you'll come across a lot worse things than this.

Yeah. I may have jumped the gun thinking it was an auction with a lame description. I didn't realize it was a $2.00 Buy It Now (which is still too much, in my opinion) with a lame description.

I think he cut them with toenail clippers while on a moving train.

Buythatcard 12-24-2012 09:44 PM

Just watched the Judge Judy clip that Anthony posted. Made my blood boil.

That woman still thinks she did no wrong.

freakhappy 12-24-2012 09:54 PM

cutouts

The seller ended the auction early. He must've received an offer off of Ebay that he couldn't refuse :D

buymycards 12-25-2012 06:16 AM

Nice

He does have a nice lot of Ben McDonald rookie cards that seem to be original. There have been quite a few fake Ben McDonald rookie cards showing up on ebay lately. Buyers beware!

Prof_Plum 12-25-2012 07:06 AM

What do you think an uncut sheet of those babies would go for? $10? $20?
