Rare T205 .....and the grade?

The Gold .no border variety... I wonder if they even know the borders have been cut off? And secondly, if this were sent in to be graded should it even get an AUT grade?

No grading company should grade it other then a big altered. It should not be an authentic.

EvilKing00 12-17-2012 10:14 AM

i think IF its an authentic t205 card and not a re-print the grading company should slab it AUT, um cause it is.

Runscott 12-17-2012 10:20 AM

How much of a card has to be there to get an 'AUTH'? If you took a full-sized T205 and split it directly down the middle, could you get each half encapsulated separately?

marcdelpercio 12-17-2012 10:26 AM

I think that if there's more than 50% of the card present and the card is authentic, there's no legitimate reason not to grade it as such.

I'll let this pic do my voting...

To me any card that is original and has enough of the card left to show that
it is original should qualify for an authentic grade even if it is a piece of junk, it is still an authentic piece of junk.

That is a fairly funny description. You nailed it Tony :). You forgot to mention Paypal.

Judging the timing he likely died in the Spanish Influenza pandemic.

I voted AUT. There is certainly enough of the card there to ID it and classify it, so an AUT would be fine by me. And if anyone wants to throw away that borderless Wags, just pack it up instead and send it over.

A scrap I own has more card to it then the Wags yet SGC would not holder it due supposedly to not enough card. Not sure why they wouldn't, its my decision to have it loose.

Is that even an original card? It kind of looks like a reprint.
