What's Hot, What's Not for December
Every few months I post something here to get views on what card issues seem to climbing, or falling, in price. Of course, we know the real answer: My cards are hot, and yours are not. And, of course, "value" is not based purely or mainly on price. But apart from that: What seem to be the trends? For example, I might say, t202s and t205s are cold, but CJ 1914 are hot (but what about CJ 1915?). Are t206 SLers and Hindus cooling at last or not?

from what i see - I have been buying T205 (graded) , bought 8 last month and I have seen that the prices are higher now in december

From my experience, T206 SLs are still pretty hot. I'd say 33 Goudeys are cooling off. It's been a good time to buy.

T206 Hindu SLs are a tough one to figure out. One week you have an auction for 3 in poor condition that go for around $600/each, then the next week you have one in poor condition go for less than $200. I know a few board members are chasing this subset, including myself, so we tend to bid up the prices on cards we all need.
From my personal experience, 34 Goudeys are slow moving (maybe I'm overpricing mine!?). |
Id say SL Hindus are hot right now...
A PSA 3 is running anywhere from 1000-1600 I have seen PSA1's go from 300-600 |
1921 Exhibits seem to be pretty cold right now. Trying to pick some up lately.

I do to know if my observations dictate that they are hot but t204s seem to be creeping back up in price. I was going to dive in the set when they were dirt cheap but they seem to be on the upswing.

Hot=What I'm buying
Not=What I'm selling. Weird thing is they are the same set of cards. |
Rose Co
I would have to say that the 1908 Rose Co postcards have been getting some high prices lately.
