A Bronze Brooklyn Bum Statue?
 

Has anyone ever seen one of these? It looks just like the Rempel plastic squeak toys from the 40's to 50's, but is made of bronze. There doesn't appear to be a makers mark. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is it solid or hollow? Not sure but it looks like it is either the mold used to make, or a cast made from, the ceramic versions from the mid 50's. It may be quite valuable, guessing $2K++

It's heavy for it's size. I guessing its close to the weight of a bag of sugar? As far as hollow I would say no but I am no expert on bronze. I can make an educated guess and say that if it were not solid any part that may be hollow certainly has to be small in size.
