Standard Catalog Of Vintage Baseball Cards ePub

Don't waste your money. Bought iBook from iTunes store. Searching takes for ever. Interface lacks basics. Runs super slow. Can't convert to other formats because of DRM. I'd rather have the pdf.

You have to contact Krause and ask them. Apple refuses to refund the purchase.

By that do you mean that there is a pdf available if you contact Krause and purchase it from them? Or that we should contact Krause and ask them, "Hey, why no pdf?"

I contacted, and they said they would mail me a dvd with pdf on it. We'll see.

If that's truly what it is, please post or forward the contact info for who/how to get it from them, as I would be very interested in a true pdf format of the guide. I checked their website, and the closest thing I saw was a 2-CD (modern and vintage) version of their 2008 guide, with all the others being hardcopies. I still refer frequently to the pdf version included on a disc with their 2009 guide, but would gladly purchase the new one for any updates.

Call me spoiled, but I MUCH prefer looking something up in a searchable pdf to flipping through the hardcopy, especially if I'm not 100% sure what the set title is or how it's listed in the guide. Can't hit Ctrl+F to find it in the hard copy! :p

Sorry, no contact info. I just called and was transferred to the person who was responsible for the ePub. I explained why the ePub sucked, and why I wanted the pdf instead. Maybe if enough call they'll sell the pdf instead, because the ePub sucks big time!

I'm not entirely sure anything has really been updated in the vintage section in the Standard Catalog guides after 2009.

I've got the Google Books version (2012) and it works pretty well on the PC, but the version on the iPad is hard to use primarily because the page zooming doesn't work. I can barely read the text on the iPad, however the search and bookmarks work fine. maybe it would look better on iPad with retina display, I don't know.
