MICKEY WALKER, ABE ATTELL & MAXIE ROSENBLOOM 1943 CELEBRITY SIGNED LEDGER PAGE measures 8x10 dated July 29th, 1943. Walker and Attell have signed next to each other and also written their home addresses , Maxie Rosenbloom has signed the reverse. There are at least a dozen or more other autographs on the page none of them are familier to me. Unique period piece Walker is considered to be pound for pound one of the greatest Middle weight and welterweight champions in boxing history and Attell is considered to have been one of the all time greatest featherweight champions. Attell is best remembered today however for his involvement in the 1919 World Series fix. $350.00

Other names

It would be interesting to find out who was responsible for the names written in pencil on the reverse under Rosenbloom. While they are all in the same hand. they do include Al Schact and Ray Sinatra. Ray was Frank's second cousin and did a lot of orchestral work for Mario Lanza (another noted Italian crooner). Interesting piece!

Most of the pencil signatures under Maxie appear to all be in the same hand. IMHO I don't think the Cantor is signed by him either. The "Key" signatures however "Attell & Walker" are genuine

Yes Ray and Frank were cousins, and yes Ray worked with Mario Lanza. There is a story that Frank Sinatra was going to change his name to Frank Ventorre or something like that early in his career and cousin Ray said NO WAY !
