Call me crazy

I've been called much worse:).

When researching and coming up with theory's about a set have you sometimes though I must be crazy to think this stuff.

Have those crazy theories proved out for anyone?

From one Andrew to another, you're crazy. :D

I couldn't resist.

Nope. :(

I quit collecting for 6 years because I thought it was insane. Then I realized that Keith Olbermann and Charlie Sheen collect baseball cards and they are not crazy. Now, I'm the high bidder on Sam Mele's chair and drinking from an unmarked bottle with a handwritten inscription on it.

Might want to re-think the Sheen comment a little longer...

I've never had any desire to be crazy...I mean 'wealthy', until I look at Olberman's T206 proofs. Had the same thoughts looking at Charlie Sheen's Warhols - tried real hard to win won, but 'win' for me would have meant actually being as crazy as Sheen.

I thought he was being sarcastic.

If he's a Republican, he might have been being sarcastic about Olberman as well :)

To the first part of the question: Yes, for sure :D

To the second part of the question: No (with a qualifier) :D-

I love theories because they make you question things. Sometimes you have to throw theories around to continue learning, at least I do. I have no problem being schooled by collectors who know more than I do, because it helps me find answers. Sometimes, the stupid questions need to be asked. Occaisionally, it keeps the conversation going, which is fun for me. So, even though every theory I've came up with haven't really proven out, I usually end up learning things I didn't know along the way. Thank you to every board member who has generously provided information that they've learned themselves along the way, sometimes through obviously intense and time consuming research- it is much appreciated.

No doubt I'm a bit crazy-and I've also been called worse ;):D

Sincerely, Clayton

I'm pretty sure that a certain amount of craziness is a prerequisite for being a card collector.

It's not just you ....... we are ALL nuts!!

.... we sink thousands of dollars and hundred of hours into pieces of printed cardboard .... yeah ..... that's crazy :)

not with all the cement heads around...

people hate change (and hate new ideas or discoveries)
