The TRADER SPEAKS....March 1979 issue....Check it out
Love the cover. Love the GOODWIN Album. Actually, Barry Halper and I have more in common than these beautifully lithographed albums. A great guy to know.
I'll save my Barry Halper experiences for a future post on this thread. I'll start with Bill Heitman's article in this Trader Speaks. Forthcoming, if you are interested, I'll post articles by Lew Lipset, George Lyons, and Tom Reid. http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...xMarch1979.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...z/A36cover.jpghttp://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...Champions2.jpg http://i1255.photobucket.com/albums/...illHeitman.jpg The TRADER SPEAKS, in its time, was a great hobby publication. Please share with us you old issues. TED Z |

many thanks for sharing the Heitman piece.
Since Lew Lipset wasn't able to provide us with the volume regarding F cards (thankfully, he gave us 3 tremendous volumes re:other key cards), I'm always quite happy to see information on the F's. It gave me the fun opportunity to go and take a look at my Wheaties Grove, Wheaties PC Holland, Harrington Falk, Yuengling Hargrave, and Quaker Oats Ruth. I need to give these more attention! all the best, ole buddy barry |
