Who Used This Vintage NY Mets Glove?

I recently bought a bunch of items from the son of a long time Mets Trainer Joe Deer (1960's and 70's). This glove was one of the items. He said it came from one of the players but was not exactly sure which one. Thank you for the help.

This website will probably help you narrow it down: http://www.mbtn.net/

The Trap-Eze is an outfielders glove, but the numbers 27 and 43 that appear on the glove are usually worn by pitchers. Two of the most notable Mets pitchers to wear 27 were Dallas Green and Don Cardwell, and I think Craig Swan later.
There were quite a few to wear 43, so I think it's going to be tough to say who used this glove without finding a photo match.

Don Cardwell worn 27 when he played for the Mets (67-68-69) but wore 43 with the Pirates (65-66)

So I would say a spring training glove from 1967

Jim -- nice job on Cardwell switching numbers -- I was thinking the glove was given to another player.

my guess was he brought it with him when he went to the Mets spring training and then got his new one and left this one behind with the Equip Mgr
