Trying to learn Earle Combs
I know that Earle Combs' wife was known to sign some autographs for him in the last years of his life. In my research, it appears it's the "E" that she couldn't do very well.
Therefore, in looking at some signatures, I thought one like this would be considered genuine. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261127366054...84.m1438.l2649 and this one would not be http://www.ebay.com/itm/Earle-Combs-...61127366054%26 Am I correct? Thanks for the help. |
Combs
Correct.

The second exemplar...
...even looks like a woman's handwriting.
It's hard to imagine that anyone would ever believe that this was signed by a man.... |
The second exemplar also says "Earle B. Combs by Ruth Combs". What more do you need?
