Tango Eggs on ebay
|
cheap home-made fake. should use a better printer if he wants to stay in this business
|
He just wrote back to me saying two auction houses said they were real.and told me to mind my own business

Telling you to mind your own business is the seller's way of saying "I know they are fake."

Questions
Do Tango Eggs have a glossy finish? I had some V61 Neilsons that I soaked (for too long) and their glossy surface ended up hazing, with an end result similiar to the Tango Egg Jennings we are discussing. I don't know the seller and not defending him...just curious. Also...does the back look authentic? If it was soaked the soaking wouldn't affect the look of the back.

This is the first "pre find" Tango I've seen that didn't have a numbered stamp on the back. The Plank from last years REA didn't either, but it was missing so much of the card you can't say it didn't ever have it. The Cobb that sold in Goodwin a couple of years ago has a numbered stamp, as does the Oakes that I own.
This one looks a bit different to me but it was a pretty horrible scan. |
