Rare style Cubs Jersey is an electrifying blue pinstriped beauty. The Cubs only wore this style from 1978 - 81, making it highly desired by collectors. This one was worn by Catcher extraordinaire, Barry Foote.
Nice game-used condition, and jersey is accompanied by an LOA from Mile High Card Co. I don't know much about older Cubs jerseys or Foote, but when did he wear #8? Baseball Reference doesn't show that number as ever being worn by him, on any team?

Did you check any other sites? Or browse for images of Foote during his time with the Cubs? I did one google search and found his 1982 Topps card picturing him wearing a similar jersey with #8 on the front.
