1962 Yankee Team signed ball
A close friend recently received from a relative a baseball signed by nearly all of the Yankees team from late 62 or possibly early 63 based on the signatures. I am not as familiar with signed balls as I am with cards...I was hoping for some advice about having this ball authenticated.
PSA and JSA have previously been recommended, however, which of these two companies is more preferred (are other companies also recommended)? Also, using the calculator on the PSA site to calculate the cost of this, am I correct to understand that the authentication of this ball with approximately 25 signatures will cost $150? Thanks |
you may want to post a scan or two here first to confirm that it's not a facsimile/stamped baseball

If it is a facsimile ball PSA will probably send you a credit slip rather then send you a refund.
A credit slip which you may not want or ever use. Another case of PSA sticking their hands in your pocket. |
