Obak 150 Set Finished Today

Excited today one of my final cards on my want list arrived. This is the final Obak set for me minus of course T4’s LOL. I finished just recently the 1910 T212 Obak 150 series with the help of some board members and some luck via eBay.

Some of the unique poses from the 150 series make the set just very cool compared to the main stream more common 175 series cards. I’m still looking for upgrades so if anyone has any 150 cards for sale that are nice please let me know. Huge thanks to Mike Peich for getting me the bulk of the set and Leon for helping me with one of the last cards on the want list.

I was stuck at 20% on this set recently, but the influx of cards onto eBay helped me pick up a few - now at 27.5% complete....Man, that is an accomplishment to finish this tough subset!

Job well done, John. I have had the only graded complete set for several years but I knew it would just be a matter of time before someone else had the money, the patience and the opportunity to complete this set. My guess is that some old time collector on the West Coast either passed away or sold off his collection because, although some of the more commonly seen 150s have appeared lately, there are 10-12 which are rarely seen.
