1955 Topps #2 Ted Williams help
 

I have the opportunity to purchase a 1955 Topps #2 Ted Williams PSA graded 2 locally. In looking at the card online the value is all over the place. I've never bought a card as I focus on autographed baseballs and was hoping I could hear the opinions of the forum's collected wisdom. I'm not interested in flipping the card. I appreciate your time.

Try searching on ebay for completed auctions. That will most definitely give you a good indication of what that card (or one in its range) usually goes for. Good luck.

cardtarget is a pretty good site that tracks completed auctions for a particular card in a particular grade.

looks like a Teddy Ballgame in similar condition has recently been going between $60-$80 with a few outliers. Best of luck.

$60 for a PSA 2 sounds reasonable. But buy the card, not the slab. There are plenty of cards in 2 holders that I wouldn't pay 2 money for.
