Good resources for estate sales?
 

Just wondering if there is a particular site people use to check out estate sales or is it just internet hunting these days.

I think it depends on what area you live in as to how well they are covered, but estatesales.net seems to do a pretty good job of covering the sales around here.

I say seems to, because I haven't actually broken away from my day-to-day to attend any of the sales yet, but I do get e-mails from them every day or two with new sales, so there seems to be plenty of activity.

Estatesales.net is the one I've always used. You can search by location, keyword, etc.

In my neck of the woods, there is an entire network of people who seem to attend estate sales for a living. You have to get to the sale 3-4 hours before it opens just to get one of the first spots in line. I enjoy attending estate sales when I get an occasional weekday off, but you have to be pretty dedicated to sometimes "score the best stuff".
