The guy on the PC looks like Thorpe almost as much as Burt Lancaster did....:D

maybe the seller's uncle was also named Jim Thorpe

That is Jim Jeffries Thorpe. He played for Portsmouth in 1910. He sucked and so does this postcard.

Well, the Cobblers played from 1906 to 1916 and had a number of major leaguers. Looks like a lefty, so the seller can't even say that it was Billy Southworth from the 1912 team. Cool card though
