Check out this Seller!

I wonder how much of this stuff will eventually hit the secondary market (purported to be authentic).

I can see how these items make for nice displays at affordable prices (for people who can't afford the originals). But I still wish they'd put a stop to it. A number of "unknowing" collectors are sure to be duped somewhere down the road... Thoughts?

questionable at best. though i guess its really no worse than legitimate card companies creating reprints.

as a newbie at vintage, it is stunning how much "legitimate" fakery there is in this hobby.

I don't think he'll get any buyers. If one could put a reprint in a frame and get $150, life would be easy.

My personal sentiment is I can understand someone buying a reprint poster or ad for his wall, but handwritten 'replica' signatures are stupid.

Well, for the seller, Life is easy! As Paul pointed out that the seller has no problem selling these pieces. Here's a link to his completed auctions... http://www.ebay.com/csc/baseballdisp...mplete=1&rt=nc

Look, now the buyers can dupe other people. What a vicious cycle... This is why i almost think of selling everything. Its out of control.
