Need opinion on authentication of T206 Cobbs
Hi there! I got these T206 cobb cards as a part of a large collection, and I am pretty lost on how to authenticate these. Ive already asked somebody about the cobb(red background) with the Cobb back(the ink on the back looks blue/purple), and they said that one is probably a fake, but he thinks that the rest look real. I would like to get the opinion of some more people, based on the pictures I provide. I dont want to spend money on grading unless I am confident these are real. I am more experienced with 50s/60s stuff so I would really appreciate some help! Thank you very much for your time!

all look fake to me.

Fake. No doubt about it.
|
Agreed, fake. The borders are too big; the font on the name on the front is wrong; the backs are all either wrong color or do not have factory info on them. No doubt they are reprints.

Absolutely fake.
Unless you live in Ohio and co-own them with your cousin. |

Hahaha... though you might have to send these to GEM or PRO to get it authenticated... |
If you had to ask on these you might want to keep your initial purchases of tobacco cards to some $10 beaters....
