OT- Just wanting to whine and moan.
 

Lost 7 of the 9 things I bid on this weekend and every single one of them was by 1 bid increment. Ok now that I got that off my chest time to buck up and try again.

I was 0-4 yesterday. Under bidder on all 4 :mad:

Sad thing is, it looks like you lost by one bid increment.

On the bright side, it just went for one bid increment more than your top bid. But it could be the other person (winner) had a max bid of two or three times what you thought it was worth, or might go for. So, you may not have lost by just one bid....

(I keep reminding myself of that whenever I lose a close one)

I feel like the more I lose the thicker the skin I grow. Initially losses would bother me but now I just blank it out of my memory and move on.

Call it the "loser tolerance" :)

I believe that if my winning percentage is too high then I am paying too much. Sunday, I bid on a handful of 53/55/56 Topps and 8 T205/6s. I won one T205, four T206 and three Topps. I will take that all day everyday (budget willing:D). I forget the losses as soon as I archive them.:)

Don't feel bad, it's not just you. I sniped over two dozen items on FleaBay this weekend and won just two. But that's the way it goes when your looking for deals.:)
