So I realize there are a ton of fakes of these cards out there & several of the grading shops willl no longer take them in due to the mass of counterfeits...

Thats said, what are these cards valued at when graded??? I have the opportunity to pick up card #1 in a bvg 2 condition... any ideas as to what the estimated value would be? is this a good buy at $200

I have 5 of the 6 fro joy cards with 4 of them graded by Beckett. I have purchased #2 BVG in the 3.5 grade, #3 in BVG 5, #5 in BVG 3.5 and #6 in BVG 3. I have paid no more than $350.00 for any of these cards. I think $200 is a fair price but not really a great price for one of these IMO. If you want an authentic one that is fair but if you are looking to flip it and sell it for a higher price I do not think it will bring you much more in $.

I reall appreciate the input... I am just looking to add a low end affordable ruth to my collection without compromising with a Schapira bros/bulgaria/sanella... $200 seems right based on what your telling me... (the dealer actually had the card marked at $350), so I think $150 would be a fair price to pay for it...
