Without the extra $99, I guess he couldn't retire in style:D

we get what we deserve, we reap what we sow.

Somehow, I cannot tell you how, exactly, I have amassed over 1000 cards from 1987 to 2012. Most came as package stiffeners while I was wasting my time collecting vintage and pre-war cards. My retirement should be well-financed..........assuming I drop dead right after the Early Bird Special on the first day...:D:D:D:eek:

I just sent an offer, so we'll see what happens!

Do you think he'll settle for $1.00?

Since I know very little about modern issues these days.
What is the approx value of the $2 million lot if one were going to build it themselves card by card?

I see close to 800$ worth of cards there. I think it's a joke, literally.

This guy, though, is dead serious:

The first one may be a marketing sngle I've seen a few people take on Ebay. They list an item or a few items at insane prices just to get people to look. While they're looking, they usually look at the sellers other auctions. And some of them bid or buy other more sanely priced stuff.

The second one is simply out of touch with reality.
