I put some of these on Dodgers Autographs page, thought I would add some here too. Post yours if you have any of these.

Thanks I will try and find the article I have about the guy who collected them so he gets the credit. I am anxious to see if more show up on this tread.

I remember seeing a collection of these offered through one of the auction houses (presumably where yours came from), but can't recall offhand which one. Would have been sometime within the last couple of years. I recall bidding on them for the novelty factor, but didn't go the distance. Perhaps someone with a better memory than mine can recall where to pull up the auction listing?

Those are very cool. The Dusty Rhodes was done over 8 1/2 years!

I got them in SCP auction a few years ago. Found this article that came with them and a PSA-Dna letter of authenticity.

Dual postmark autograph theme
1 Attachment(s)
Kenny,
Great thread! Here are mine: 1) HOF Nolan Ryan signed and dual postmarked in his rookie season 1968. 2) Rich Reese (Dick Reese) signed and dual postmarked in his rookie season 1967 Rich Reese would become Nolan Ryan's ML record 383rd strikeout victim/ milestone in 1973. I've always enjoyed owning these two pieces in my Nolan Ryan collection. Definitely a creative way of collecting autographs. The collector that got both of these collected all rookie autographs using this theme. If I'm not mistaken, the crown jewel of this collection was a Roberto Clemente that was done in this manner. Pretty cool! |

I recall seeing a Melvin Ott on eBay a couple of years ago.
