T206 Hindu tonight in ebay

Wow, I bid on all 3 cards well above what they sold for and my bid was not accepted and I did not get the high bid.....seller lost out on at least $300, what a pitty. Too bad eBay fails this time for 2 board members...

I could have won the first one for $140. I wonder if I should have bought it.

Probably not wazoo, unless they accepted your bid an not mine

That's too bad. But Hindus are pretty popular so I bet you'll find one.

Yeah, it's a bummer, man. I have not ever had eBay not accept my bid in 10+ years of bidding....I am to say the least a bit disappointed.

Very sorry to hear that. EBay has its glitches, like the time issue. You should contact them about it.

how does ebay not accept a bid?

tinkertoeverstochance 08-27-2012 02:53 AM

I put in a bid, eBay acted like my bid registered in the system and then when I refreshed the page to make sure my bid went through, my bid did not show up. That is how...,

Weren't most of those the same cards Andy had on the B/S/T thread?

I am surprised at the low price he got for those. Had I heard from a trading partner, I would have gladly paid what he was originally asking for the Bransfield.

I was the underbidder on all three. Accepted my bid within 5 seconds of closing....no problems. I would have liked to have had one around $100...will wait on the next ones.

The cards were on the BST board for some time and the seller was looking for offers before listing them. If you were willing to pay 80% of what he was offering them for, it may have been a good idea to contact him before it went the ebay route.

I don't really collect T206's, but I like the looks of the Hindu backs and wanted to get one, and tried bidding on all three as well, had no clue what they are worth, just threw in a $90 bid for each, max I was willing to pay since I didn't know any sort of value for these.

I can assure...

I can assure everyone on this thread that I would of LOVED the higher end prices. I am not sure what happened but no one has been put on a block list by me. I wish I had recourse with Ebay but I highly doubt I have any.
