not a t206 thread - Cracker Jack Murphy
Wanted to pick this up - thought it went for a very, very strong price. Is this the norm?

1914 CJs have been VERY strong lately. Probably 2-10x their prices from just a year or so ago, especially the high #s (like 80 and above) and horizontals.
I've been on a buying freeze for my set cuz I haven't been able to afford many the past year :( edited to add: I think a year or two ago that Murphy would've sold for $100-150 and not $400. |
Nice, but I prefer his T206 card.

He has the horizontal pose, right? That is a good one. I was thinking this was an aberration, but did not realize 1914 sold this strongly. |
Regarding 1914 CJs, why are they much more expensive than their 1915 counterparts?
Were less made, or is it simply the case of it being the first Cracker Jack set, and not the 2nd? "If you ain't first, you're last." |
