T206 518/518 - I'm done!

I've reached my goal of 518/518 and finished my T206 set on Friday. Took me less than 2 years. :D

Thanks to many board members for cards and a special thanks to Erick Summers for selling me the final card!

I've thought hard about the two St Louis variations and they don't excite me enough to spend the money. Perhaps one day, but not now.

Still scanning cards for my site - only halfway there...

Next projects include Hindu SL subset and a HOF set (all HOFers, not just t206 HOF).

Awesome job Jason! I just read this on your blog and then saw your post here. I hear you about the two St Louis variations too.

Anyway I just wanted to say congrats.

Best.

Jason, congrats on finishing the set. Can you please give a ballpark figure of the cost it took to complete the set? I have been "lurking" on this site for years and have contemplated starting the set many times but one of the variables holding me back is cost. Thanks, Paul

Congrats Jason! I'm very happy that I was part of your journey... I only wish I could have handed you the Cobb in person. You should have it on Monday or Tuesday.

jp1216 08-04-2012 12:20 PM

Erick, when I saw that Green Cobb on B/S/T last week - I was hoping Jason would pick it up. Does this mean you found an upgrade?

Big Ben 08-04-2012 12:42 PM

Congratulations! Great job!!!! That is a very nice blog. Some friends of mine have urged me to start a Goudey blog. Looking at your blog has given me some good ideas! :)

No upgrade yet... Just seemed like a good time to let others enjoy the Cobbs that weren't staying with me.
