List Your 5 Favorite Goudey 1933 Portraits
Someone started a similar thread last week re: t206 that proved popular so why not try this. One problem: what represents a "portrait" in this issue? It's pretty clear on t206 but often not here, with so many what I would call semi-portraits: e.g. Hubbell, Gehringer. But pick as you'd like.
Among my 5 would be: Arky V Terry Maranville Martin O'Doul |
My top 5...only have the O'Doul and Ott, though...
5. Ruth 181
4. Ott (love the hair!!!) 3. Gehringer (great pose) 2. Hubbel (greater pose) 1. O'Doul http://www.collectorfocus.com/images...127-melvin-otthttp://www.collectorfocus.com/images...32-frank-odoul |
This is tough!!!! My top 5 portraits.
5. Dibrell Williams #82 4. Tony Lazzeri #31 3. Charley Gehringer #222 2. Babe Ruth #181 1. Paul Waner #25 There are at least 10 other cards that could easily be included on someone's list. |
