Is this Brooklyn Dodgers Team Baseball Real? How much should I pay?
Is this Brooklyn Dodgers Team Baseball Real or Clubhouse? How much do you think I should pay? A local collector is offering to me for sale. Thank you.

I can't really tell you if if there's any clubhouse sigs here, but I can tell you that based on Dressen and Podres being on the ball together that this would be a 1953 ball. Brooklyn balls are known for the skilled signings of Mr. Charlie "The Brow" DiGiovanna. Charlie was the home batboy for the Dodgers and signed alot for the players. Here's a link to some info about him that might give you some background. http://www.psacard.com/articles/arti...universeid=314

Holy crap, that's got Don Thompson on it! He lived here and was my customer but passed away about two years ago. His sig alone on it would make me think it could be legit, as his playing time was very limited.

Thanks for the info guys, anyone know how much I should pay for it?
|
The guy wants $500 for it. Should I buy? It looks real to me.
|
My personal opinion is that, providing it's legit, and even if it has several clubhouse sigs, that $500 sounds like a good price.
|
Thanks for the advice.

I'd love to have that for $500, just for the Don Thompson auto. I collect everything of his I can find which, currently, is one item.
