authentic?

Beautiful card....but I am always skeptical about cards that have sharp edges.

Looks like a nice, real card to me. I am not the de facto T206 expert though...
|
My opinion is authentic, but trimmed.
|
I sure hope it's real, it's a beauty.
|
First, it is real. Next, it would be good to get a scan of it on a flat bed scanner, instead of the tilted photos... but with what's there I think the card's borders are real and not trimmed nor doctored.
That card needs soaking, so that the coffee or whatever on the bottom right diminishes. Might need soaking for a couple of days, with multiple water changes. That's a nice card. |
Looks like a very nice authentic card. I think the coffee stain might be a shadow as it extends beyond the card. I also don't see distinct signs of trimming but it is sharp enough that it needs to be looked at more closely.
|
Can you get a shot of the whole card front and back...any others to compare it beside?
|
best i could do for now...

I think it has a good shot to grade. Looks like a diamond cut. Nice card.
|
I see and understand that it isn't a stain, but a shadow during photographing. Until scans are posted, instead of photos, this is all a bit of a game.
I agree with the diamond cut. Save the grading money and spend it on buying more cards. That Cobb is a nice one. |
Stain or not, beautiful card.

This is a perfect example of how great these cards look without the slab. Slabs ruin eye appeal, that's Just my opinion. The registration on that Cobb is beautiful... Very very nice. |
