1980 Charlotte O's Orange Border Ripken
 

The last confirmed sale of the 1980 Charlotte O's Ripken card took place all the way back in 2006.

1.) When is the last time you've seen a copy?
2.) Do you own one?

Being that it was issued primarily to non collectors (school children) by the Charlotte PD for only a brief period of time....locating any singles from this set is nearly impossible. The last of the "common" WBTV Ripken cards was sold nearly a year ago.

I got it in the mid 80's. I collected minor league cards heavily at that time. I still have a fairly large collection of sets from 1972-87, but they really haven't been my focus recently.
I have no current plans to sell them, but I never say never. If I get blown away by an offer who knows.
Please understand that I am not fishing for an offer. I'm just letting you know where I'm at.

Last one as a PSA 6 sold for $2500.
