I just found some today. I must have saved one each of the unique ones I had, but I only have 4 (none on your list). How many different do you have?

JoeDfan 09-07-2014 06:23 PM

Oh, I might have those...I have a TON of the game cards...let me dig around tomorrow night.

Down to 12411 and 12478 and 12545. Saw this listing for a almost master set. Is seller here ?

I do think this "set" further complicates what constitutes a Topps 1991 Master set

With 1991, I’m not sure if a “master list” can even be defined. The 40th Anniversary logo on the game card fronts also seems to be bold or faint, just like the A and B sheet cards.
So there’s that, too.

Are these numbers more rare than the others?

By total coincidence, I found TWO whole boxes of unopened 1991 cards last night. I forgot all about them when I moved. I might have to bust 'em tonight...

ALR-bishop 11-19-2018 02:38 PM

They may have been S ( single) P grand winner numbers and may be non existent or available

JoeDfan 11-20-2018 10:19 AM

Ok, you might have talked me into it. I am busting some cards tonight!

I will let you know if I find any of those numbers you are looking for.

I know this is an old thread but I didn't want to start a new one about these three instant win cards.

I also thought that this is what it might be but it is actually related to the sheet layouts. I just finished organizing 2000 instant win cards and found that

12411 is between the change from the A to the B cards and would have been the 67th instant win card
and the start of the second half of the sheet if they went in numerical order which I think they probably did.

12478 was the change from the B to the C cards also the 67th card in the next group

12545 was the C to D change and 67th card

I also have a handful of instant win cards that are on a much thinner cardboard

the top card is one of them in this image

Pat—very interesting info, but does this mean the cards do or do not exist ?

Pat R 02-22-2025 07:00 PM

I don't think they exist because all three fall in between the change of the letters on the cards from A-B, B-C and C-D and with thoose three the toatal number of game cards would be 267 but without them the total is 264 which is two 132 card sheets.

I wish you had pointed this out a long time ago so I could quit looking for them.:). Thanks for good info

Same here. I’ve never seen those last three either.

Hi Pat, interesting observation. I play around with the 1991 Topps as a side project.
