Pro Team Names That Don't End In An "S"
 

Watching the Heat vs. Thunder made me realize that the Heat, Jazz, Magic and Thunder are the only teams in the NBA that don't end with an "S".

MLB - White Sox/Red Sox (although it is pronounced Socks, which does end in an "S")

NFL - None

NHL - Avalanche, Lightning, Wild

MiLB - Excluding teams that end in "Sox"; here are the teams in Minor League Baseball that don't end in an "S":

Visalia Rawhide
Missoula Osprey
Greenville Drive
Winston-Salem Dash
Bakersfield Blaze
Ft. Myers Miracle
Trenton Thunder
Altoona Curve
Lake Elsinore Storm
