Show your pins!

I don't collect pins, but here are a couple that I won from Henry Yee's auctions. Show any pins that you have.

Very nice pins...will you crack them out? IMO Pins always look better grouped together in a frame of some sort.

Gary,
You are off to a good start. Nothing wrong in specializing in Babe Ruth pins. They would make for a good display if you included other types of Ruth collectibles along with the pins. For what it is worth, I don't believe in grading pins. As such, the slabs detract from their appeal. I hope you become a pin collector. Paul |
I wasn't planning on cracking the pins out. However, I'd like to see any pin displays if anyone has them.

Two pin I picked up this month. Anyone know anything about the Red Sox Pin. Thanks D.

Williamsport (Pennsylvania) was a minor league team of the Red Sox in the early 1970s.

Nice collection, Leon, for not being a pin collector...........

Williamsport Pa is where the Little League World Series is played. (not that it has anything to do with the original question from Dynarl :))

O.K. I will play a little!:D

Here you go Gary, some of my favorites. I haven't added a nice pinback in quite some time. I don't really collect team pinbacks, but rather individual players on pins that catch my eye.
Also FWIW, I wouldn't crack your Ruths out of the holders. I actually like them in those slabs. Only would consider it if you have a larger group that you want to display in a Riker case. http://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...dGumWagner.jpghttp://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...5PM1Wagner.jpghttp://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...joieScorer.jpg http://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...HelloBabe2.jpghttp://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...PM6Johnson.jpghttp://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...nusWagner2.jpghttp://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...sJoeLouis1.jpg http://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...938PR1Pins.jpg http://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...DOClemente.jpghttp://i488.photobucket.com/albums/r...nteTabPins.jpg |

A salute to a currently overachieving team that is fun to watch.

Anyone have the Mickey Mantle "Eyes Closed" Pin that they'd like to sell/trade? I know there are a couple on ebay currently, but I'm looking for one without the brown spotting. I was under-bidder in Yee's auction and now am on a mission.
Sorry for the off-topic, self-serving post :o |
