Green Bay Packers pennant. What year?
 

Anyone know what year this pennant might have been produced? The player is wearing a leather helmet. Thanks!!

Looks like a 1940's pennant. Not exact, but very similar to a '40's Packers model depicted in Mike Egner's pennant guide (on page 168). Mike lists the similar one (full size) as "Rare"'and "$300-$400

No way to pinpoint a year, but 1940s is right on. The materials and design are perfectly indicative of that era. Magnificent piece!

Side note... Mike is working on a new volume of the Pennant Guide. It's still in development, but there will apparently be some terrific updates and enhancements. Perhaps he'll post soon, with a status update :cool:

I have been working on it for quite some time. Slowed down a little with the weather getting nice and summer but would expect to be ready sometime in the fall. Tons and tons of new additions and will also be offered in e-book from in color as was suggested. Mike
