Up for sale today is a very nice and early 1952 Type I Original Photo picturing HOF great, Sandy Koufax as a High School Senior in Brooklyn, NY along with some of his fellow school athletes. Original caption affixed to verso reads, in part, "One of the stars of this 1952 Lafayette High School team (Brooklyn, N.Y.)" Sandy is pictured in the back row, center and photo measures approximately 6 1/2" X 7 3/4". To the best of my knowledge, this is the earliest known press photo picturing Sandy. Please review scan of the photo for condition details as I would rate the photo as being in VG-EX condition.
