i plan on keeping these as a near set, but i am wondering if it would be wise to grade the star cards?
what grades do you think the HOFers above would pull from SGC |

Have you found any non red backed cards yet in this group?
they come in red, and also a scarcer brown color back also do you have the Al Lopez rookie card, the most desired card in the set to the rookie card collectors. Nice group. PS I see the Lopez card, sweeeeeet ! its above the Babe Herman, bottom right corner, 3 rows up 2 cards over "Alfonso Lopez" lol :) I see you posted a pic of it right above this post. FYI, the Lopez is the best card in this set and most desired. |

I have never owned one...and am/was surprised at how tiny they are!!!!
Kinda like OJ's...they look spectacular in scans...then you hold one in your hand...and they are so little!!!!! |
well, i am debating with my wife right now on how to sell this set. i have it listed on eBay and intend on leaving it on there .. there are 19 watchers on i, so i am sure it will do just fine.
she wants me to sit on it a little longer and "shop it around" right now my selling limit is $5000 per month on eBay, do you think it has the chance to sell for more than that off eBay as in a major auction house? also, if i were to put in in an auction house, would it be wise to grade the star cards? |
