Your prefered method of storing/displaying your cards

As my card colleting journey has progressed I've gone through several phases of storing and displaying my cards. As a kid starting out I kept all of my cards in the 3-hole pocket pages. I grew tired of all the pages/binders and migrated to a storage system of the all too familair white cardboard boxes which were easy to organize and quite utilitarian.

Since I've recently gotten back into the hobby and specifically into vintage cards, I've been debating how best to display/store my collection. I don't want to hide them away in cardboard boxes so I'm debating with my vintage collection to move back to the pocket pages, or maybe a type of custom/hybrid display in and around my home office.

Just curious what some of your thoughts are on displying/storing your vintage cardboard.
