OT/ Trivia. Seems easy, but....
Name the two most northern cities which have ever hosted a World Series.
|
Minneapolis and Toronto
|
Funny that the two northern most cities, Seattle and Montreal, are only two where a world series was never played !!!
Going to guess, Minneapolis and Boston |
Minneapolis is one. Toronto and Boston are wrong.
|
Is the other Milwaukee?
Joshua |
Nope. Close.
|
Hint: think small cities which don't have a major league club anymore....
|

Toronto 43 degrees 42 minutes Nope We're still waiting on the verdict re the Bloomington Twinkies I'm sticking with Minneapolis and Toronto. |
I agree and say Bloomington, MN.
the twins played at metropolitan stadium and they played in the 1965 WS against the dodgers. they moved to the metrodome in minneapolis in the early 80's. the former metropolitan stadium site is now the site of the Mall of America, the largest mall in the U.S. There is a home plate marker in the mall still as well as a marker where Killebrew's longest home run there landed. so they played WS in bloomington and minneapolis. |
Well it is a tricky question. FWIW, I had Breakfast today in Minneapolis and lunch in Bloomington.
|
The answer is Minneapolis and Bloomington, but it should be Minneapolis and Toronto.
