Best Auto You Own

What is the best autograph you own, the one you show off the most? Don't really quite know mine, but maybe these:

Probably this one, because even most casual baseball fans have heard of the black sox scandal, and because it was my first from that team.

I have some cool signed Killebrew items (including 2 sheets each signed nine times by Harmon, testing pens for autographs that I got from Sean here) but this is still my favorite item:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/IMG_0480.jpg It's not worth all that much but I just really like it. |

I showed it on the other forum before we autograph nuts were moved but here it is again. Read the letter.

Probably the least pricey one I have. A ball that Mike Mordecai signed for me, inscribed: "Happy Purim"

Or, better yet, sell it to me cheap! Ken earlywynnfan5@hotmail.com |
Sorry,, :):).
He was such a great guy too. And he went to my high school, years before me of course. And then Ed Kranepool came along and broke all of Greenberg's school records. |

One of my favorites is this Big Train cut signature... I need to get the display upgraded, but I truly enjoy looking at it & love showing it off...

Here are couple of my favorite Walter Johnson sigs in the collection

It's tough to pick a favorite, because I have many that I really like. Here are two of my favorite signatures of Walter Johnson in my personal collection.
The first is a signed and dated vintage photo of Walter Johnson in his final year in baseball. Walter penned this autograph literally weeks before he threw his last strikeout and played his last game... I picked up this terrific signed index card from another Net54 board member a few months ago. Everything about this card screams outstanding. It was signed just before WaJo began his stint as manager of the Cleveland Indians in 1929. Here is a look at the front side and verso. Awesome! |

Kind of partial to this one too:

Nice autos, Richard love that letter. Can't wait to pick up a Big Train auto someday. Forgot about this one I have, love his signature:

As a theoretical physicist, this one shines for me.

Some absolutely amazing autographs in this thread. I can't really say that I have much... I have had a few 8x10s signed for my son (who's 2 1/2) to decorate his room. Whitey Ford, Ernie Banks, Monte Irvin, Juan Marichal, and Phil Rizzuto (obtained when I was a kid).
He thinks every baseball player is Jackie Robinson though, and calls them all his Jackie Robinsons. I'm hoping to pick up a signed 8x10 of Jackie Robinson during his playing days for him to replace the 1949 Dodgers Team Issued Photo that's hanging up in his room. |
Man, I got a Bill Stafford twice signed picture pal contract. How can one compare?
Best one so far is Sir Isaac newton. Come on.:) |
removed since found it not authentic :((

A couple of my favorites. The 1933 Indians autograph page is my best purchase on eBay to date. The seller didn't realize the autographs he had. I saw Walter Johnson and realized it was good immediately. He added this to eBay 45 minutes before I saw it. $ 75.00 BIN.
The Ruth signed grocery receipt is just a cool looking signature. |
