Date stampings on T202

2 Attachment(s)
Picked up this cool T202 from Cy. It's the 2nd T202 that I have owned with this unusual stamping pattern. The other was a Street/Johnson T202 which I sold in 2005.

Anyone else have this kind of stamping on a T202?

Can be assume that the stamping is nothing more than an original owner marking his or her property? Or does the stamping reflect production dates?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Patrick

I have seen date stamps on varies T202s and T206s. Those stampers must have been pretty accessable in the day. This one looks like a child got a hold of a stamper and went to town. Nice card even with the stamp.

The very first T202 I ever bought has a date stamp on it.

Just coincidence or does it mean something else?

Sure looks like the same stamper was used. It's almost like they did them at the same time because of the date change.
