Tobacco Card Display Ideas
I am building a home theater room and planning to decorate it with Tobacco cards. Initial thought is a wall of T206s (all 524...), a wall of T205s/t202/t201 and a small display of T3s (not all original cards, will use reprints). I have seen pictures of Powell's T206 impressive display but was wondering how the members display their collections or if you have pics of a memorable display. Any ideas/pics are welcome. Thanks!

That is great stuff Lee! Awesome room!
I have a display I've shown here that combines my family's hometown and the Pirates second baseman from it, Dots Miller/Kearny. Made by my dad. Have some other cool things he made too but too lazy to take pics/upload them(that's real lazy if you think about it) |
Lee, z28jd,
THANKS! Big fan of the graded cards used as trim along the top of the wall. Thank you for sharing the pics. I may rip off a few of your ideas. --Dave |
The Ledge
Thanks guys, John looks great.
The "trim" with the graded cards is where the heat duct is. Was trying to figure out how to fill the space and came up with the idea. I have a retired friend that has a wood shop in his garage and he came over and set it all up. Turned out great. The best part is they slide in and out and are easy to change. Lee |

Here's some photos of my T206 displays in my man cave. I will post other photos of my room in the memorabilia section.

Now that's a serious Man Cave, a little too much light for a cave though. :)
That looks as big as my whole house. Lee |

The small "floating" frame with the raw cards I got at A.C. Moore. Thanks for the nice comments. |

It is a pretty large room. The tv is 103" and we have shades for all the windows, doors, skylights, etc. so when we are watching a game during the day, we pull all the shades and it does truly become a "cave". |
Phil, Dan,
Great man-caves and card displays. Thank you for posting the pics--those are very impressive displays! --Dave |
Pennzoni display cases are the best for graded card display. They come in 12 card, 30 card, 36 card, and 50 card displays. Easy to hang also.
