Help Identifying Vintage Baseball Glove...
 

Hello all,
I recently picked up this glove in a local auction and wanted to find out any info I could about it... I know it's a D & M and looks to be a catchers mitt, but that is about it..l no idea on model, age/era, value, etc.

I am very excited to get the piece in the mail.

Any info would be gratefully appreciated.

It's most likely from the 1940's. It is a lower end model and doesn't have much value - maybe $10 to $30. The mitt looks like it should clean up and be a nice display piece in your collection.

Any idea on what would be the best thing to use to clean up for display? Glove oil?
