Piedmont Pack and Coupon Question
 

I have recently gone through and dug out purchases from long ago and have some questions on these:

Piedmont Coupons - Expires June 30, 1909
*Were these in packs and pre-date card issues

Piedmont Pack - Has an American Red Cross Sticker on the back. Factory 25
*Does this date to years that baseball cards were inserted

Hi Eric,
Good questions. Since nobody has responded yet I'll take a shot. I believe the coupons were issued inside the packs. The expiration dates were probably a year in the future, or more, so a June 1909 coupon would have been issued prior to the T206s being inserted. The Red Cross labels were for World War I, I believe. The issue date would be 1915-1918 is my best guess.

Thanks Ron. I did some more digging and the fact that the pack has Leggett & Myers put's it after T series production. The coupons were early as you say. Thanks for the input.
