Guys - Would love to see any brothers/cousins scans on any type issues you may own out there. I ran across these cards in the T210 series and not sure if these are actually the same dude or brothers/cousins, etc. (I will research when I have time) If you have any scans to show - lets see them !

Series 1 - South Atlantic League (C League) - Redfearn - Greenville, S.C.
Series 5 - Carolina Aossication (D League) - Redfern - Columbia, S.C. Greenville to Columbia (105 miles) Perhaps this is the same guy and he received a demotion from Greenville to Columbia ? Southpaw, looks identical or very similar at the least. Maybe a Twin brother ? |
Jeremy,
Man, nothing will get me to Baseball Reference web site faster than T210's !!!!! :) Van Landingham surely looks to be the same fellow (although spelled Vallandingham): http://www.baseball-reference.com/mi...d=vallan001cha Redfearn is most likely the same guy, although listed with 1909 Charleston/Knoxville of SAL. 1910 in Greenville. There is also a Redfern of no known first name with Augusta in 1911 (I "assume" same guy). So why the Columbia team ?? Don't know, just a T210 mistake, or the fact that the 1909 Charleston/Knoxville team of SAL basically folded, and played out the season on the road (sometimes referred as the SAL Orphans). http://www.baseball-reference.com/mi...d=redfea001jam http://www.baseball-reference.com/mi...d=redfer001--- Either way (or anyway), it's pretty cool, they have Baseball cards !!!!!! |
Thanks Scott !
Good Info - Scott - Much appreciated.
