Lets see your negro league scorecards
 

I just crossed off one of my major collecting goals and aquired the Negro League Scorecard below. Its the only one I have ever seen which was made espcially for the game and isn't just a lineup printed in a generic scorecard. I would love to see any other scorecards or programs out there.

I just read "Satchel" and loved it. A wonderful biography.

I was on the verge of making a run at that scorecard, which would have either meant that I would now own it, or you would have spent a bunch more money.

Instead, I decided that sticking with only regular and post season MLB scorecards gives me plenty of stuff to sort.

Enjoy it, it's beautiful, that's for sure.

Its was actually an ebay pick up. I spent more then I intended but I didn;t know when I would get another oppertunity. Its not in good shape but I don't even want to think what a great condtion example would go for

I saw that one on e-bay too, very nice pick-up. Looks legitimate to me, which is quite rare for a Negro League item on e-bay.

I would agree with your assesment that most of the negro league stuff on ebay is fake. Pretty sure its legit. It came would a group of newspaper clippings that must of been part of the orignal owners collections. If someone faked all of the added material they went thorugh a lot of work

I think you got a good price, well worth it.

It's in fantastic shape, especially when compared to all the other ones you see on ebay and in stores.

I don't have a scorecard, but as a tie-in to the K.C. angle, I have this scorebook page from a game played by the Kansas City, Kansas Giants.
