Cobb as an A?
While looking through the stats at MLB noticed Ty Cobb played 2 seasons with th e Philadelphia A's in 1927 & 1928. I've seen most of his cards with him in Tigers uniform obviously but don't recall seeing any in the A's uniform . Did Cobb appear on any cards in the A's uniform? Any help is greatly appreciated, Brett

1933 Goudey Sports King ???
.
It's been quite awhile since I collected them, but I seem to recall that he wasn't wearing a Detroit uniform on the 1933 Goudey Sports King. Not sure if it was just a "generic" uniform, or bore the colors and style of the Athletics. |

Thanks To Calvindog for those scans very nice cards. Which now leads to my next question (I' m trying to learn something here) what exactly is a Rogers Peet ? Candy card ? Gum ? Thanks for the info in advance. I wasn't able to find the Rogers in the Standard Catalog . Brett

Rogers Peet was a clothing store chain which created this cards in the 30s; just a handful of them were baseball cards, the rest were other major sports figures.

Not sure but there may be one of the Exhibits where he is in an A's uniform.
