Ebay New rules regardings Grading services

Did anyone see the new rules ebay has implemented for selling graded coins?
if the coin is valued over $2500 it MUST be graded by PCGS & NGC only
3rd world slabs are no longer acceptable

If they did that for coins will they possibly do that for sportcards in the future?
PSA SGC & Beckett will probably make the cut
the rest will be left out

any comments one way or the other?

I don't see how those 3 can make the cut.

I could see something like that happening in the future on eBay. Personally, I would never buy a single card on eBay for $2500 or more that wasn't graded already. So that would not affect my buying patterns.

It will destroy the raw card market. Right now forgeries use a lot of no name "authenticators" to sell their junk. If this happens, all those forgeries will wash out into the raw card world making it even more difficult to not give in to PSA SGC
