CSA Show Starts Today In Chantilly
 

I'm taking the afternoon off and heading to the show (5 mins from where I work). Anyone else going to the show?

I will be there with one of my sons. Picking him up after school and heading straight there. Will be back on Sunday with both boys after sports die down this weekend.

Anyone interested in meeting up tonight? It would be great to put faces with names. I'll be at the concession stand somewhere around 6 wearing a Pirates hat. Or just look for my hat on the show floor ... can't imagine there will be very many Pirates fans there ;-)

If my oldest didn't have practice tonight, I'd probably be there this afternoon.
I might try to get there on Sunday, however.

You mean after you throw it there in disgust when you realize it's March 30th and the Pirates have just been eliminated from the playoffs?

Fun show - sorry I'm missing it.

Last time I was there with Cy, was the only time I met Joe Pelaez - what a T206 and T205 collection that guy had with him, and all in his trademark binders.

I was there today I saw a lot of vintage 50's/60's/70's but not many tobacco cards. Was there a honey hole I missed?

I spent a little over an hour down there. Not a lot of tobacco cards this time. One guy had a Hindu southern leaguer in a BVG 1 holder that had a hole punched in the middle of it, but I didn't bite.

Did run into fellow Net54 member Ken C. - Good to see you again.

Hope to get there tomorrow for a little while.

I always attend this show on Friday (I live 10 minutes away). IMO, Net54er Ken C. has the best prer-War cards. Ken, I hope you have a good show.

I love the chantilly show. My brother is there today and said it is packed. Great auto lineup with RG3 bringing a lot of people in the door.

Heading back tomorrow with my older son. What a great show! Looking forward to it.

Pirate hat will be in place so say hi if you see me. And yes, I heard on ESPN last night that the Pirates have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs ... no more Pirate jokes!
