REA T206 preview McGraw question
In looking at the preview images, I noticed that the printer's scrap McGraw has part of four Piedmont backs. One cannot be identified, two are 350-460 subjects, but the bottom left looks to be either a 150 series design or has paper loss over the "3" yet aligns perfectly with the remaining three "backs". It also has no staining/ink just over the first number. My initial reaction is that part of the card might have been rebuilt but may also be surface paper loss; any thoughts?
I saw the card at the T206 resource site, btw. Judson |
It sure looks like a 1 but I don't see how thats possible. It would be nice to get a clear scanned closeup of that area.

I have seen a few different scans and "in hand" pics of this card and believe it to be paperloss.
The 150 series font is larger with a "wavier" Subjects line. |

Hopefully, the zoom scan will help. It looks like the 3 is scraped off the paper based on the scan. Cool card |
How are you seeing REA's preview other than the 17 items on the homepage?

Thanks!
